When you have everything that you wanted in life, what do you do about that? The key to leaving a happy and a fruitful life is sharing what you have with the people around you.
The reason why I say its good to give is because there are people in your life who chose to give you what you needed in that particular time for you to be able to climb the ladder of success. It could be resources like; Information, time, money, food, and shelter, and above all, the opportunities that have taken you from “ZERO to HERO.”
When you give, you are basically giving an opportunity to the next person; you are basically opening the door that would otherwise be shut if it were not for you. We live to inspire people and change other peoples’ lives. So STOP with the greediness it will degrade you!
Why do we turn to forget the people who have helped us climbed the ladder of success when we are on top of the world? Is it the nature of being a human being to act like that? Is it that we are selfish heartless human beings? Is it because of our race, because usually it is said that black people do not want to see another black person being successful.
Some talk about the Pull him down syndrome which they say it’s a thing for black people especially Africans. We as Africans do not want to see another black person climbing the ladder of success. We are basically heartless and selfless. When we arrive at the top we want to be all alone without sharing our resources and experiences. For example; there are successful business people in Africa but very few of those can award scholarships to young people to enrol in universities. But the irony here is; it is highly possible that one or two business men have gotten to enrol to varsity through attaining scholarships from a white business man or even a black business man.
What we then fail to do is to rewind and go back to where we started, where we come from before we get the jobs, before we got paid. If we could do that, we can alleviate poverty in our homes, communities, societies, nations and in the world at large. We can contribute to the betterment of education standards and we can improve the literacy rate among our populations. We can therefore help in reducing unemployment rate and create jobs by and for ourselves.
When we share we are actually increasing our chances to living a better and happy life because if you share what you have people will associate with you because they like what you do. You will gain recognition even where you live, and in this way there will be more and more opportunities that welcome your way even when you get older you will have created a bigger family than just your biological family. You will not fall short of anything because this new big family that you have created will provide for everything that you need and at any time. That’s the good life everybody asks for. Slowly but surely, our societies will move from the current state of being in the third world to becoming the first world.
This change begins with you from your family to the outside world. Have the heart and promote the spirit of giving then everything will fall in place. Your extended hand will always bring a smile on your face anytime anywhere.

If everyone cared... the world would be a better place. Unfortunately the very same people who are given the responsibility to provide for society do not do their jobs. If government and business were socialy responsible, the world would be a better place. Companies are greedy and government is corrupt.
ReplyDeleteWe do not live in isolation people should start giving back because they were also once assisted in their life, it may have been financial or not but they were assisted...
ReplyDeleteYes companies are greedy and evryone is greedy... they saty power corrups and we ar so jelous and full of ourselves once we gain power.
ReplyDeletePeople have to learn and change their mindset and start giving.. lending a hand will go a long way.
ReplyDeletethe thing that people fail to understand about giving is that giving is not all about financial donations or food hampers to the needy but also just sparing your time to help the destitute and actually making them feel as part of society and contributes positively in an individuals life. time is a resource and if you spare those few minutes helping in the community it is a way of giving.
